Ever heard the term “diamond in the rough”? that’s kind of how I feel about El Matador. Now, I’m not referring to California as the “rough” however this place was a gold mine.

Where Is It?

El Matador is a beach in Malibu, California.

How To Find It?

The beach is super easy to go to and can be found at 32350 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265.

Is There Parking?

Yes! There is a parking lot on top of the lookout area. There was an $8 fee to park in this VERY SMALL lot that definitely fills up quickly. When I was leaving there were people parking along the road due to the lot being full.

Are There Bathrooms?

There was a set of port-o-potties at the top of the overlook by the parking lot.

Absolutely! This place is a great spot to spend the day with the family! During summer there are tidal pools also.
