Garden of The Gods State Park

If you find yourself looking for some red rocks in colorado or something to do that free for half a day Garden of The Gods is for you!

Garden of The Gods is located just outside of Denver and makes a great pitstop in between Great Sand Dunes and Rocky Mountain National Parks, or a day trip from Denver! It is a free-to-enter park with MANY little trails as well as rock climbing (for TRUE AND TRAINED CLIMBERS) as well as a very large visitor center with a museum-like setup. After parking, we spent about two hours walking the park. It was a very different atmosphere than the Rocky Mountains and other local rocks.
