If you happen to be going through Ottowa on your next road trip, you do not want to skip Parliament Hill! There are always events going on, like light shows, and it’s a beautiful place just to roam! Parking can be found around the square and beyond pretty easily and it’s a seemingly safe area that tends to have a few police officers roaming since it’s government property. There’s also a lot of quick food stops along the way. If you’re from the US Ottowa feels very European with its’ character and architecture and is REALLY worth the stop!
