Must Stop In New York

New York is full of places to stop and see like Times Square, but there are a few places I don’t see talked about enough!

The first stop is the Brooklyn Bridge and it’s local eateries. It’s a really fun place to walk and see, but also the pop-ups and food spots are amazing. I’ve been here a few times and learned that Juliana’s pizza is the literal pizza of your dreams. It’s brick oven goodness will having you longing for it for days. But after that there is a ton of dockside entertainment, pop up events, a carousel and the best ice crem shop ever. I always sightsee prior to stopping here and then make this my lunch destination. Just a heads up however, it is normaly for Juliana’s to have a LONG line out the door to be seated.

I also always vouch for a stop at Central Park, but with a twist! Prior to the first street of Central Park, there are TONS of bike shops. You’ll see a large variety of guys with signs advertising low price rentals. These are legit as long as you don’t go over your use time or crash your bike and have to pay for it. Once you wait in line, get your bike and helmet - head to the park! The bike track is HUGE and if you follow it you can see much more than you would on foot. It’s super fun and actually easy if biking is not a normal activity for you. Just watch for other bikers!

A trip to New York no matter how short or long is always a great idea as there are always new places popping up, but make a point to return to a favorite if you find it!
