Visiting New York City can be quite stressful at times when it comes to parking, finding good food and sight seeing, but this place will be a break from all of that. This is one of THE BEST views of the New York skyline and should not be missed as you even get to see the statue of liberty!

Is There Shopping, Food or Novelty Museums?

There was once a guy that was biking with an ice cream box, but besides that I have yet to see more food here.

How Far Is The Walk/Hike To The Destination?

The parking lot is just a few steps from the restroom. Past this are large grassy fields, walkways, playgrounds and even a 9/11 memorial. Then there is a long walkway by the water which is a great view of both the skyline and statue of liberty! It's about a mile of walking there and back to be expected.

The entire thing is completely flat and it has multiple paved walkways throughout.

Is This A Family-Friendly Destination?

I'd say this place is definitely family friendly and I'd even dare to say safe for a family outing in New York. There's space to roam and run and equipment to play on. Pack a basket and bring a lunch here even!
