Two Days in Vegas

Vegas obviously has a reputation and is typically an absolute blast. However, where do you start? What do you do if you do not want to gamble the whole time? Check out these ideas!
Everyone knows you can gamble in Vegas so I figured we would start here. Check out different ways you can get vouchers for gaming ahead of your trip like with Facebook slot games, joining hotel group free membership types, and more. These vouchers can also be room discounts, drink tickets, free parking, or attraction discounts. A little early research can go a long way.
Once while staying a Bally’s, before arriving I signed up for the free membership. This got us both a free drink voucher per day, a 20% room discount, free parking at all Bally’s hotels, and $25 in gameplay. Literally for just giving them my email address. So do a little research before going to see what you could get for free.
It’s also worth mentioning how to get other free stuff now as well. Simply walking on the strip can get you “ins” to exclusive parties or club nights. These tickets are typically given to women and ones that are dressed like they’re looking to party. You also may have invite-only pool parties at your hotel that work in a similar manner, some are open to all, and others are just a few dollars to join. You also can typically get free drinks while playing slot or table games. You cannot just sit and get drinks, you’ll need to pay into the machine and be actively playing. The longer you play the more drinks you can get. The girls can see how you are playing and will serve appropriately. However, if you tp well they may make an effort to swing by more often.
Get a room with a view. Trust me - it’s worth it. The first photo is the view from Treasure Island and the third is the view from Bally’s. The room photo is also Bally’s. People watching is really fun at all hours, but also if you are near a show hotel you’ll see their outdoor shows right from your room.
Now, always remember that the price you see online is almost NEVER inclusive. There are almost always daily resort fees that range from $20-$100 a day per resort. I almost always book through Groupon and they do not include the fees. When booking you may be tempted by prices to stay off strip but you will pay the difference in time driving or fees for Ubers/ taxis. Keep in mind what I said earlier about joining free memberships to get room discounts or hotel brand specfic specials.
While visiting Vegas you NEED to take the time to go to Freemont Street. You can zipline the ceiling, see a lot of street girls and eat REALLY good food here. It’s worth the $10 Uber to get there as this is considered the “old” vegas. My favorite restaurant is here - The Cadillac Mexican Kitchen in The Golden Nugget.
Be sure to explore. Both the day and night versions of Vegas are totally different. See other hotels, watch the night shows, see the fountains, wait in line to get a photo with the Fabulous Las Vegas sign and more. Catch a show, see a concert or grab a buffet brunch. There’s really nothing not “worth it” in in Vegas. You can even go on local day trips to other hidden spot, Valley of Fire, Hoover Dam and The Grand Canyon!
